What is Express Entry Canada and How to Apply for it?
What is Express Entry? It is a system to handle how people with their skilled work experience can easily apply for the immigration to Canada. Through express entry, skilled workers are allowed to become permanent residents of Canada and settle down there.
ExpE (Express Entry) is used to manage various applications for PR (permanent residence) for the following programs:
- Federal Skilled Worker Program
- Canadian Experience Class
- Federal Skilled Trades Program

Note: Once you begin working on your ExpE profile you have only 60 days to finish it.

If you are listed in the Express Entry Pool, then you can take another step where Job search is compulsory and for that purpose, you need to create a job match account with Job Bank. Even after entry Canada, you can continue searching a job through Job Bank.
It’s very easy to create a job match account with JB (Job Bank). To do so, follow the mentioned steps:
- Go to the Job Match sign up page
- Navigate your mouse to ‘Sign Up Now!’ button and click on it.
- Read the given privacy notices and click on ‘I agree’ button.

To hire you, an employer is likely to require an LMIA (Labour Market Impact Assessment) from you.
Even if you are selected in the pool, it doesn’t mean that recruiters will certainly invite you to apply for permanent residence. To be selected from the pool for immigration, one has to possess the highest-ranking scores and once a person is invited; he/she can apply for permanent residence in Canada.
